Victoria Atkins MP was delighted that the Alford & District Civic Trust have recently been awarded a grant of £57,800 from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This grant is for The Thompson Collection Extension Project, which focuses on the contents of R Thompson & Son traditional Millwright’s workshop and various activities in order to display and develop the collection.
The project plays an important role in helping the local community to celebrate, look after and learn more about our unique Lincolnshire heritage.
