I've been campaigning for a better deal for our rural communities, from support for our hard-working farmers and food producers, to investment in our internet not-spots at my Broadband Summit.
It's fantastic news that £200 million of funding has been announced to invest in rural broadband projects, to help farms access new technology and to promote rural tourism opportunities.
This funding boost from the Rural Development Programme for England is open to applications from businesses to create jobs and help the rural economy grow. If you have a project that may be eligible, please visit the RDPE Growth Programme website:www.gov.uk/government/publications/rdpe-growth-programme.
