"The Horncastle Umbrella Trust is a shining example of a non-selective school and a selective grammar school working together for the good of local children", so declared Victoria Atkins, MP for Louth & Horncastle, this week.
During a Statement on Grammar Schools in the House of Commons, Victoria told the Right Honourable Justine Greening MP, the Secretary of State for Education, that the Umbrella Trust could serve as an example to other schools in the country.
"Queen Elizabeth Grammar School and Banovallum Academy is one of the best examples in the country of what the Minister wants to achieve," she said, "and the Minister agreed with me."
"Yet again, the constituency of Louth & Horncastle sets the standard for others to follow."
