It was a pleasure to welcome Betty Harvey OBE and fellow members of the Women's Institute in Louth & Horncastle, plus special guests from the WI all the way over in Canada!
After a tour of the Houses of Parliament and watching a lively session of PMQs, we had a chat over a cup of tea and a slice of cake in true WI style.
Our constituency has a strong connection to the WI, electing a proud Institute member and suffragist, Margaret Wintringham, in 1921 - making her the first British female MP to take her seat in Parliament!
