With less than a month to go until His Majesty The King’s Coronation, over £3 million of National Lottery funding has been awarded to communities across the UK so they can come together in celebration.
It’s great to see that in Louth & Horncastle, three awards totalling £13,803 have been made to local groups and organisations.
One such award has gone to Hemingby Parish Council. They have received £5,550 to hold a four-day festival celebrating the King’s Coronation with an emphasis on bring people together from surrounding villages.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport have created an interactive map where you can find and submit details of any events celebrating the coronation in your area. See more here: https://coronation.gov.uk/share-event/
