Victoria Atkins MP has welcomed East Lindsey District Council’s vote to retain Louth Cattle Market on its current site.
Speaking after the Council’s unanimous vote in favour of option 3 Victoria said “I am pleased that East Lindsey District Councillors have listened to the residents of Louth & Horncastle following the consultation on the Cattle Market’s future. The Cattle Market plays an important role in the local farming industry and the wider rural community”.
Victoria went on to say “We must now look to the future and ensure that the Cattle Market remains viable. This means working together to make the best use of the available space for the benefit of the farming and wider community.”
