Over the bank holiday there are hidden gems around every corner in the constituency.
Since 1994, Louth & Horncastle has attracted over £10.2 million of Heritage Lottery Fund investment for projects to restore our old buildings and explore our rich history.
Most recently, this has included £231,600 for St Clements Church in Grainthorpe to conserve the beautiful Grade I Listed church's roof dating from the 12th century and £194,800 for restoration of the tower, belfry and spire of Thimbleby, St Margaret's Church.
There are many different grants available, so if you have an idea for a project in our community then have a look at the options so that we can preserve our heritage and keep visitors flocking to the area all year round.
