In the next of my #lovelouthandhorncastle series, Royal Air Force Coningsby share the fantastic aircraft they have as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Squadron Leader Mark Discombe, who is the the Officer Commanding the BBMF, talks us through the Chipmunk which is used at the base to help train fighter pilots ahead of them embarking on the Hurricanes and Spitfires. Many thanks to the team at RAF Coningsby and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for putting this video together and for providing a great insight into their work at the base!
