“I was delighted to host the Parliamentary Launch of the State of the Nation 2016 report.
I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 3, and understand the importance of education for all those living with this condition.
I was particularly pleased to hear from the Secretary of State that he is committed to supporting our work to improve the life chances for those with Diabetes.
As the Prime Minister said today in Prime Minister’s Questions, “It is important that we send a message to them that their future is not limited: they can do whatever they want.”
