Victoria Atkins MP joined the students, parents and teachers of Cordeaux Academy for their annual prize-giving ceremony last week to present the prizes and deliver the traditional speech.
Victoria’s commitment to our local young people was clear in her words of encouragement to the students. Speaking in St. James Church in Louth, Victoria emphasised the importance to the students of working hard, respecting others but also enjoying themselves.
Victoria said
“It was my pleasure to present prizes to students at the Cordeaux Academy prize-giving ceremony last week.
I was greatly impressed by the hard-work and achievement of the pupils, many of whom were recognised in the awards ceremony.
I would like to congratulate the students and all those who support them in their studies. Parents, teachers and the many other staff who work with our young people play an important role in our society.
I wish all those present the best for the coming term”
