“Working Together for Lincolnshire!
That is what Conservative MPs and Parliamentary Candidates will do for Lincolnshire now and in the future,” promised Victoria Atkins, Conservative Candidate for Louth & Horncastle.
On Friday, Conservative MPs and Parliamentary Candidates met County Councillors to discuss the needs of the county. Topics discussed included plans for the local economy, investment in roads and rail, and the future of healthcare in the county.
The three “coastal” candidates whose constituencies include the Lincolnshire coastline – Victoria Atkins (Louth & Horncastle), Marc Jones (Grimsby) and Matt Warman (Boston & Skegness) - also vowed to work together on the issues specific to coastal areas, including the need to maintain strong coastal defences against flooding.
“We all know in life that teamwork produces results: politics is no different,” said Victoria. “I look forward to working with Conservative colleagues across the county in the run-up to the election and beyond on issues that matter to us all: our health, our livelihoods, our childrens’ futures.
As Conservatives, we will work together to help ensure that Lincolnshire remains a wonderful place to live and work.”
