Victoria Atkins welcomed the news that England's Chief Inspector of Hospitals, Professor Sir Mike Richards, has recommended the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is brought out of Special Measures following the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection in February.
The Conservative Candidate for Louth & Horncastle said, “This is good news, particularly the fact that three of the ratings for Louth Hospital have improved. The hard-working staff who have made this possible deserve our thanks.
However, there is more to do in ensuring that residents in Lincolnshire receive the high-quality health care they deserve – and for which they pay through their taxes.
The provision of good healthcare is one of my priorities for the constituency and I will be watching closely to ensure that the Trust continues to improve its services.”
