Victoria recently visited the Louth Job Centre to discuss the work being undertaken to improve employment rates in the area.
Recent unemployment figures show that the Claimant Count in Louth & Horncastle is down by 19% since January 2015 and 52% since the same month in 2010.
Across Britain there are over 2.3 million more people enjoying the security of a job than in 2010.
Victoria said,
"It was a pleasure to meet with those working hard at the Louth Job Centre to support members of our local community in to work.
I particularly welcome the work being done to assist those in seasonal employment to full-time jobs throughout the year.
I am encouraged that recent figures show an increase in employment levels on this time last year, and I will continue to work with employers throughout Louth & Horncastle to further improve opportunities for work in our area."
