Victoria Atkins MP hosted a meeting in Anderby on the Triton Knoll cable route plans to discuss how best to minimise the impact on the local area.
At the meeting, Victoria said “I have met the Secretary of State and written to him and RWE to get answers to questions for local residents. We need to make sure local people are heard.”
Discussing the meeting following its conclusion Victoria said,
“I was pleased to be joined by East Lindsey District Council Leader, Cllr Craig Leyland, East Lindsey District Council Cllr Mel Turton-Leivers and County Councillor Colin Davie as well as Parish Council Chairman Peter Woollven and other Parish Councillors, to discuss the implications for the local community of Anderby of this decision.
The Secretary of State has made the decision and so we must prepare for construction work to begin.
I will speak up for local residents to make sure the plans are implemented with the minimum disruption to my constituents.”
