Lincolnshire’s Standard Bearers were today welcomed at the Houses of Parliament by a number of the County’s Members of Parliament, at an event hosted by Karl McCartney MP. These were Rt. Hon. John Hayes (South Holland & The Deepings), Victoria Atkins (Louth & Horncastle) and Martin Vickers (Cleethorpes).
During their visit, the Lincolnshire Standard Bearers enjoyed a tour of Parliament, a Q&A session with Karl and also tea on the House of Commons’ Terrace.
Karl McCartney, Lincoln’s Member of Parliament, said “I was delighted to host Lincolnshire’s Standard Bearers who serve our County so well and for me and a number of my fellow Member of Parliament to meet them. They all said they greatly enjoyed the day.”
Victoria said, "I greatly enjoyed meeting Lincolnshire’s Standard Bearers during their visit to the Houses of Parliament. They are excellent representatives for our area and I very much enjoyed our discussions.”
