To celebrate the Government's new, tougher stance on those found guilty of acts of animal cruelty, Victoria Atkins, Member of Parliament for Louth & Horncastle, is launching a contest to find the cutest pet in the constituency.
Those wishing to enter should visit Victoria's Facebook page, Facebook.com/VictoriaAtkinsOfficial, and leave a picture of their pet on her pinned post about the competition.
The competition is open to all residents in the Louth & Horncastle constituency and their family pets. Victoria welcomes any animal to take part, and would also enjoy hearing about their personalities.
The winner will be decided by other Facebook users, who are encouraged to like their favourite and share the post. The pet with the most likes on August 9th when the competition closes at 5pm will be crowned the winner and will receive a pet-friendly prize, with a bottle of white wine for the owner.
