During my visit to Alford, it was great to speak to local business owners and to see the fantastic produce and services that they offer. I was also delighted to see the beautiful Pom Pom Tree in the market place. Residents decorated the tree during lockdown thanks to Alford Craft Market, who donated free pom pom kits to raise the community spirit. In what was a great idea for all, residents made the pom poms in the colours of the NHS rainbow and labelled these with personal messages.
