It is fantastic news that in Lincolnshire, all care homes for residents over 65 have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
I would like to thank all our NHS staff, care homes, armed forces and volunteers for making this happen. Thanks to their herculean efforts, we have been able to take steps to protect our care home communities against the virus.
The vaccination programme continues through the county, and the NHS will contact residents when its their turn to book an appointment to receive the vaccine.
