The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill passed through the UK House of Commons yesterday, delivering on our promises to take measures to make our society safer and to crack down on crime.
I will back our police by supporting measures to equip our officers with the powers and tools they need to keep themselves and all of us safe. I will lobby for more support to tackle rural crime and press for measures to tackle violence against women and girls.
Today, Labour will see their chickens come home to roost. Thousands of farmers, farm staff and supporters from all generations and from across the UK are flocking to Westminster to protest against Labour’s Budget of Broken Promises.
