I am delighted to be partnering with Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture, on my upcoming free exhibition on Louth's famous figure Margaret Wintringham.
To mark the centenary year of her election, this exhibition will tell the important story of Mrs Wintringham, who became the first ever British-born female MP to take her seat in the House of Commons in 1921 by representing Louth.
The exhibition forms part of the festival which is taking place across the country between 10th - 19th September and features many free and unique heritage events.
