I have met numerous local residents who have indicated to me that they would like a public vote on the proposed nuclear waste facility in Theddlethorpe to be held within the next 12 months. They want the uncertainty to stop and for local residents to be able to express their views transparently and clearly.

I will back the call for a public vote within the next 12 months if this is the will of the majority of constituents in Theddlethorpe.
